
Dr. Robert M. McLean has practiced rheumatology and internal medicine for more than 30 years in New Haven, Connecticut, and currently practices with Northeast Medical Group of Yale New Haven Health. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in public policy and advocacy at both the state and federal levels. After many years in leadership with the American College of Physicians, he served as ACP President from 2019–2020. He has also held leadership roles with the Connecticut State Medical Society and currently serves as currently serves as a delegate from the American College of Physicians to the American Medical Association.
Dr. McLean earned his undergraduate degree from Williams College and his medical degree from the University of Maryland. He completed his residency and fellowship training at Yale and is currently a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine.
