CSMS Charitable Trust Chair Michael Carius, MD presented the donations at the CSMS office in New Haven. “The Charitable Trust is funded through physician donations, private donations, and proceeds from the annual Biondino Golf Classic,” noted Dr. Carius. “Their generous support for the Charitable Trust demonstrates the continued, strong commitment of CSMS member physicians to healthier communities across our state.”

Since its inception, the CSMS Charitable Trust has donated more than $500,000 to organizations fighting illness, domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness in Connecticut.
