As we approach the end of 2015, please consider making tax-deductible donations to the CSMS Charitable Trust and the CSMS Physician Health and Education Fund (PHEF). Your support helps make a positive difference in the health of Connecticut.
Founded in 1989, the CSMS Charitable Trust has awarded more than $500,000 to fighting hunger and homelessness. The CSMS Trust is funded exclusively by voluntary contributions from Connecticut physicians, and through the annual Biondino Memorial Golf Classic. 100% of all funds raised go directly to the Charitable Trust. In 2015, the Charitable Trust donated $39,000 to 14 organizations that provide food, shelter and services to Connecticut residents in need.
A separate 501(c)(3) entity of CSMS, the PHEF is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. Among its many efforts, the PHEF engages in activities to improve and enhance the professional knowledge and skill of physicians, as well as activities designed to improve the health of physicians generally, and to improve the quality of healthcare rendered in the State of Connecticut.
